Thrilled that Ben is to represent Yorkshire at his age group

I bumped into Ben and his Dad a couple of days ago – when Ben was practicing cricket of course – and his Dad said that Ben had been asked about his availability on certain dates this summer to represent Yorkshire at his age group. I was delighted to hear this great news and I will definitely try to get to at least one of his games.

I was his Ben’s first coach from age 6 to 9 and I am thrilled to have played a little part in his success. He works so hard at his game and got an unbeaten century for Huddersfield Lord’s Taverners at his age group last season.

Ben is the third person that I have coached that has gone on to represent Yorkshire at their age group. Two boys and one girl now and in each case I was their first coach for 2/3 years.
