Delighted that Ben selected for Yorkshire Cricket Board Pathways Scheme

I was delighted to get a text a few days ago from Ben’s Mum which read “Just a quick text to let you know that Ben has been selected for Yorkshire Pathways bronze starting in January. Thanks for all you’ve done to get him to this point.”

I was his Ben’s coach from age 6 to 9 and I am thrilled to have played a little part in his success. He works so hard at his game and got an unbeaten century for Huddersfield Lord’s Taverners under 15s last season.

I stopped by at a ground I knew he would be playing at last season for his adult team and his bowling was really good too. I knew his Mum and Dad would be there supporting him and it was good to catch up with them.
