Anyone who has known Pete for a while knows how proud he gets when youngsters that he has coached do well. This is Upperthong Cricket Club under 17s who won Huddersfield Junior League’s Philip Oldfield Cup in a tense final over finish on Monday. Pete coached nine of them several years ago.

Pete worked this spring and summer for the first time with Alverton Community Primary School in Northallerton.
