Pete thoroughly enjoyed working last summer with the Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy at their summer cricket camp at the fabulous venue that is Ampleforth College, York. He is disappointed that they will not be returning to Ampleforth College in 2017 as he loved working in those amazing surroundings.
Pete is delighted to have been asked by the Theakston Nidderdale Cricket League to be one of the exhibitors at the Yorkshire Cricket Board Roadshow to be held at Ripley Town Hall on Thursday 2 March at 7.30pm. YCB Spring Cricket Roadshow
Indoor junior cricket coaching camp / courses to be held on Tuesday 21 (now fully booked) and Wednesday 22 February (spaces for this day) in Ripon in the large sports hall at Outwood Academy, Clotherholme Road, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 2DE. £25 per day. There will be fun drills, games and matches. Each day will run.
Pete is delighted to announce the details for his 2017 cricket camps. The schedule starts with indoor junior cricket coaching camps at £25 per day to be held in Ripon, North Yorkshire in the large sports hall at Outwood Academy, Clotherholme Road, HG4 2DE from 10am to 3pm on: Tuesday 21 (nearly full).
This game in this video is called Crossfire with the aim being to knock over more sets of stumps than the other team. There are lots of tennis balls in play so the children get loads of throws each and the game was a favourite for many of them.
The kids on Pete’s courses have done the “front foot/straight drive with bobble feed” drill with him a few times. Pete is really pleased to now be able to show them that this is a drill that YORKSHIRE players do too. Opening batter Alex Lees is doing the drill here which has just been posted on.
Pete is delighted to be undertaking more work this month with the Ryan Sidebottom Cricket Academy.

Pete ran another successful Cricket Birthday Party on Saturday. This one was in a church hall in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, which was an excellent venue. Pete was delighted with the feedback from the 8 year old boy’s Mum who posted the following fabulous comments as a Review on Pete Keighley.
