Pete was delighted to welcome Yorkshire CCC coach Rich Pyrah to one of his summer cricket camps at Rainton CC, between Thirsk and Ripon. Rich also gave individual tips to the children during some bowling practice and the children were then thrilled to be able to bat when Rich did some.
Pete is delighted to announce the dates for his indoor 2017/18 autumn, winter and spring school holiday junior cricket coaching camps to be held in Ripon in the sports hall at Outwood Academy, Clotherholme Road, Ripon, HG4 2DE. The dates are: Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 October 2017 – October half term.
Pete is delighted to confirm that school holiday cricket camps will be held at Rainton Cricket Club, Carr Lane, Rainton, Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO7 3PS from 10am to 4pm. Rainton is between Thirsk and Ripon. The cost for these is £20 per day and the remaining dates are now: Monday 14,.
Pete was absolutely thrilled to hear that Ben Balmforth has been selected for the Yorkshire Schools under 19 side. Pete was Ben’s club coach for the first three seasons of his cricketing career. Ben has worked so hard at his game, has had lots of good coaching in subsequent years.
